August, you were good to me.
There was a lot of time spent at farmers markets and neighborhood grocers, which allowed me to discover some new local shops. [Insert plug for supporting California farmers!] I even stumbled upon this yummy "raw" kale salad and raw flaxseed pizza. I promise they were delicious, and I might even seek out some raw eating spots to frequent.
I've been kayaking all over San Diego trying to take advantage of the perfect weather and just life in general. Being under the sun and in the water: winning.
Lots of hiking, running, and walks outside with Stella. Would you look at that sky? It's hard to believe that this is less than a mile from my home. It's pretty much my backyard. I'd like to think of it that way anyways.
So much has been going on around here. There may or may not be a lot of changes in the near future. While it's a little unnerving to consider, it's still exciting to say the least. The idea that our lives will always be what they are or that we will never change is the ultimate blunder.
