I have yet to clean out my closet and donate clothes I no longer love. I feel ashamed that I feel this way about clothes that I once adored and may have worn during some memorable times in my life, but I don't want to hold onto things for fear of being wasteful. At the same time I don't want to be a hoarder either, even though I'm nowhere near stage 5 level hoarding. Though I should add that none of the pieces I am wearing are going to make it into the donate pile. I'm not sure what will, but I've been mentally contemplating the plan in my head for a few weeks now. Some things will have to just go.

I feel like I go through my closet & get rid of things every few months, yet I still have so much clutter. Sigh. But here we are, discussing the fact that we have too much clothes - how blessed we are to be able to afford them! At any rate, I still want to do more shopping with you. But for now, I'm looking forward to Sunday! I feel like I haven't seen you in forever, even though it was just last weekend! Can't wait!! :)

ReplyDeleteGreat pattern mixing! I have a hard time donating/selling sometimes too. I'll have something that i haven't worn in forever and yet i fear that as soon as i get rid of it, it will become the "perfect" finishing piece to an outfit i put together in the future. Silly, i guess. ;)
