Home sweet home, finally. While I enjoyed the visit with my in-laws, I couldn't wait to get back to warmth and sunshine! My mother and father-in-law are quite hospitable: every day we stayed at their house my father-in-law made me breakfast and my mother-in-law wouldn't let me do the dishes. That is a big deal for me, believe it or not, as I am the sort who likes to clean up after herself. I would have more photos if I actually did more outdoors and didn't have to buy a new battery charger for my camera. We spent a lot of time indoors since it was 30 and below most of time, and I was getting stir-crazy despite all the reading, writing, conversing, and tv-watching that I did. I never watch as much tv as I do when I'm visiting my in-laws, considering that I didn't watch much tv at all at one point in my life. I'm slowly improving in that area- I think. Still, I'm glad to be in my own home again, as life is waiting to be lived right outside my door.
Beautiful photos! Its nice to just kick back and relax sometime...now back to reality.... :)

Looks like you had a cozy time. Brrrr in Ohio huh! I went to school up in Syracuse , NY.. I don't know how I survived the cold and all the snow! :) Glad to hear you're back home safe and sound!
ReplyDeleteNo matter where I go, I always seem to get homesick after being away from home regardless of the hospitality. I'm really a homebody.
