Only 4 full days left here in Ohio. Currently, I'm lazing on my in-laws' sofa getting a head and foot massage from the DH. And, yes, I must write in my journal while on vacation. It's the only way I can capture memories most accurately while they are still fresh in my mind. We just recently returned from our friends' house: the guys watched a football game, drank brewskies, and played pool, while the girls ate leftover homemade cannoli filling c/o Denise's mother and watched The Hunger Games (finally!). I've been anxious to get home and organize, and I am missing Stella, Libby, and Rev. Luckily, we were given several gift cards which will go towards items that will hopefully make our home prettier and help with organization. I can't wait to get all my projects started!

1.my lunch on Friday
2. outside in the snow
3. me & Steve- what's going on with my necklace & sweater?
4. dessert on Friday
5. cookies at mt sister-in-law's baby shower
6. don't the cupcakes look lovely?
7. the DH & I with friends at Fujiyama
8. my new favorite cat Emmet
It's so nice to stay warm indoors, but the snow outside is so inviting. I have yet to throw snow at the DH and convince him to go sledding. Apparently, I'm the only crazy person here that wants to venture out in the cold weather and play in the snow all the time. It's probably because I'm from southern California where we have to drive to the mountains to experience the snow. And I'm also convinced that I left a piece of my heart in the Midwest when I was stationed here back in 2005. Oh, those were good times.....
Haha, it does seem like people that live in warmer climates love the snow! Personally I HATE it! If it didn't snow again at all this winter, I'd be so happy :)

Teh snow in northern ohio is always like drowned in dirt though I swear. I rarely want to leave the house - in the photos of me in the snow in Ohio I am shivering like crazy and unable to move because my feet are so cold.....sad. It does really suck taht timing didnt work out and we didn't get to meet - maybe another time? Who knows, maybe I'll be in California
