It has been a very tiring 2 weeks. Between work, cooking all of my meals and the DH's meals (I eat natural and wholesome, and he eats "normal"), and training, I'm super exhausted. While I'm sleeping so much better and feel more amazing than any other healthy diet or practice I've embraced, each day has been so packed that I barely have time for writing. I also spent two weekends in L.A. with friends and family, so I'm behind on things like laundry and housework. So this weekend, I'm staying home and reflecting on all the "busy-ness" and memories I've made this past week. I'm also making good headway on my self photo challenge.

I'm also excited to report that I'm doing well with my New Years resolutions! I haven't had a cupcake this week, but I still have 3 more days to go. I might have to forgo that goal, too, since I'm eating all natural and wholesome, at least until I am no longer dependent on sugar as a fuel source. I haven't even run as much, but now I'm running for a purpose, to train and for general exercise, not because I'm trying to burn all the extra calories I've eaten throughout a week. I also am eating my food more slowly so I can really savor the taste, but I'm also cooking very differently and taking more time to prepare and put more thought into what I cook and eat. It makes a huge difference in the way I feel and how satisfied I am. I feel like a new person since I'm not constantly hungry and eating. I also went to a new place this month, The Griddle, even though I'm from L.A. and that was the first time I've ever been there to eat. I think the next time I meet any friend there, I'll have the giant pancakes, which is a cheat meal that will definitely be worth it!
I hope to be able to write more and do some blog reading this weekend! Thanks for those of you who always say hello and keep me going!
Oh, and I also forgot to mention that there is a giveaway going on over here at Whispering Sweet Nothings. I'll be offering up some ad space, so head on over there if you're interested! I don't do any traditional sponsorship like most blogs do, simply because I don't have the time or feel like taking my blog in that direction right now. Maybe in the future, but right now it's not something I'm interested in.

That is awesome that you're doing the paleo diet! I really would live to but I don't know how you find the motivation! Its already hard enough cooking for myself being a vegetarian and my husband being a total meat and junk food-lover! And it seems like buying all that fresh produce and health food might get expensive? If you have any advice or suggestions let me know!
